“Infiltrations” exhibition in Plan-les-Ouates
This exhibition expresses the will of an art that does not impose itself, but subtly inserts itself into the public space, transforming our perception of places and the way we inhabit them. Here, Philippe’s works is presented on the square next to the central fountain, historical place of congregation in any town.
“Objet Stellaire: Venusian Gold” evokes a celestial antenna, standing like a tuning fork whose song resonates between our ground and the stars. Philippe Cramer thus materializes our earthly belonging and suggests immortality through a link with the beyond.
The work’s organic forms recall the biological nature and materiality of our composition, and introduce us to the notion of our future envelope.
“Aeternus Eternus III” is inspired by Egyptian cosmogony, it invites visitots to sit, contemplate and interact in a face-to-face. The sculptural torsion of the material reminds us of the perpetual cycle of life and death.
